A message from Algie:

I started Killing Machine Choppers when I retired from over 30 years of doing body-and-paint work. I always worked on choppers in my spare time, because I love em, always have. I got my knucklehead motor back in the late 60's, early 70's (man, those were some times) ... thinking I would enjoy building choppers and showing the younger guys how it was done.

My son (Breeze) works with me - a big boy, and a big help too!! We started in my home shop in So Cal. Had a good time till the now-ex-wife ran us off. We partnered with some friends, moved to a shop, and tried to start again, All went well for a while, till drugs got the best of our partners. And, sad to say, the booze was gettin' the better of me too. We fled that place, broke, with our tools. A super friend (Red) helped us out in ways we can never thank her enough for. Red: thank you, we love ya!

Red also got Hun (The Hard-Tail-Harlot) to ride to the Redwood Run with me. Mind you, I rode my sons chop, The Illinois Nazi. No seat!!! She rode the fender all the way. It was a rough trip, but we had a ball, and we hit it off. Later, I went to Washington to visit her, and we moved the shop here to escape the drama in So Cal.

We are a 1960s style chopper shop, as I remember them. If you're broke-down, broke (like us, LOL), and tryin to get somewhere, if you make it this far, then you can camp out, get fixed, have a brew, a shower, something to eat, oil in your bag, and gas in your tank. Just like the old days when chopper shops were just that, not Harley-boutiques.

We are not about the fashion show, we are about the buildin' an ridin' of choppers. We never (and I mean NEVER) sell a part at retail. We always try to give you a break, as best we can. We take spare parts in trade for labor. We sell what we can on eBay to make ends meet.

All-an-all, we try to do the best we can, with what lil' we got, like the chopper shop of the past. we do it for the love, not the money. It was a rough road here, with lots of deep tire flattening pot-holes along the way. If we can be of any help. don't be shy: let us know. Here, 'bro' dont mean Bend Rite Over...

We love ya, Algie, Hun, Breeze, and the rest of the crew at Killing Machine Choppers.
